James Coignard 1925 - 2008

Dear Friends and Customers,

It is with our deepest regret to inform you that James Coignard, at the age of 82,
passed away on March 7, 2008.

James Coignard was a world renowned French artist whose fame is not only for his
abstract paintings and sculptures but also his innovative carborundum etchings.
His art is the pride of museum collections as well as corporate and private collections
across the world. He is surely regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 21st century.
We have known James since the 1970's and can say that he was an exceptional man,
both as an artist and as a friend. Although we will dearly miss him, his beautiful
works will continue to bring joy to the world.
